General terms and conditions of sale

In order to guarantee your reservation, we require you to provide us with your bank details via secure mode on the chateaudige.com website.

The reservation is only firm and binding after receipt of the confirmation sent to the client by the Château d'Igé's reservations service.

The stay must be paid in full to the hotelier.

For certain reservations, you may be required to pay a deposit in order to guarantee the reservation. This deposit is payable when booking. Two payment methods are available for deposits: either by cheque payable to the hotel and sent direct to the hotel, or by credit card. In this case, the reservation only becomes firm and binding on receipt of the deposit by the hotelier within the defined timescale. The balance of the stay will be paid to the hotelier on site.

-48 hours before without any charges
We inform you that our cancellation policy is 48 hours before the arrival date after which any cancellation or no-show will be invoiced a sum equivalent to the first night debited from your credit card.
-No cancellation, non-refundable
We inform you that our cancellation policy on some websites cannot be cancelled and is non-refundable after booking. This means that any booking will be invoiced a sum equivalent to the first night debited from your credit card.
-No cancellation, non-refundable 7 days before arrival
We inform you that our cancellation policy on some websites cannot be cancelled and is non-refundable 7 days before your arrival date. This means that any booking will be invoiced a sum equivalent to the first night debited from your credit card.

Customers are reminded that, in accordance with Article L. 121-21-8 12 of the French "Code de la consommation", the withdrawal right provided for in Article L. 121-21 of the aforementioned "Code de la consommation" does not apply. The Sales Conditions relating to the booked room rate define the cancellation and/or amendment terms and conditions of the booking.
